Professor in the Department of Naval and Ocean Engineering (DENO) at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ). He works in the area of condition monitoring of rotating machinery and their accessories. He participated in several technical consulting in the area of noise and vibration in equipment, ships and offshore platforms. He has experience in data acquisition and processing, operational modal analysis, rotordynamics, numerical models and fault identification using vibration and thermodynamic performance analysis. He has published several research papers in national and international conferences and journals. He is a Naval Engineer graduated from the Polytechnic School at UFRJ (2002), with a master’s degree (2004) and a doctorate (2010) in Ocean Engineering (COPPE / UFRJ).
